Outlaw Adam Fullerton Dominates In Florida

March 18, 2016
Adam Fullerton represented the Denver Outlaws as Team USA's starting goalkeeper during the 2011 Champion Challenge, a US Lacrosse event on Sunday, January 30th.  Fullerton was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Champion Challenge after his outstanding 12 first-half saves, which was good for a shutout in the half.  His performance made him an essential player in Team USA’s 12-7 victory over Notre Dame, the No. 7 ranked team in Lacrosse Magazine’s preseason NCAA Division I poll.

In the second half Fullerton was replaced in net by Scott Rodgers, a former Fighting Irish goalie.  After the game Rodgers complimented Fullerton’s skill and character, saying that as a rookie he was inspired by Fullerton's composure and that he had learned a lot from the impressive first half performance.  When all was said and done Fullerton recorded 12 saves and Rodger stopped 6.

Other Outlaws represented on the Team USA squad were defenseman Matt Bocklet and Lee Zink.
