Pro 2011: Entering his first season with the MLL and with the Denver Outlaws College Played under Outlaws Head Coach Jim Stagnitta at Rutgers, where he earned Honorable Mention All-America honors as a senior... A First-Team All Big East honoree, Mattes lead the conference with a .635 winning percentage on faceoffs (160-252) during his senior season... Led Rutgers with 61 ground balls and scored one goal with four assists during his final season with the Scarlet Knights... Won 114-of-217 draws (.525 pct.) his junior season, in which he also scored one goal with one assist and led the team with 59 ground balls...
