College
Poillon spent his first two collegiate seasons at Howard Community College in Columbia, Md., where he earned NJCAA All-American honors both years before transferring to Ohio State. As a junior for the Buckeyes, he earned honorable mention All-America honors after netting 32 goals with eight assists (40 pts.). He then transferred to the University of Maryland-Baltimore County for his final season, in which totaled a team-best 47 points (26 G, 21 A) in 16 games (all starts).
Personal
Poillon posted a league-record 410 career points at Seneca Valley High School in Harmony, Pa., where he was a three-year captain and four-time MVP... Earned all-section and all-conference honors throughout his career... earned U.S. Lacrosse High School All-American and Western Pennsylvania Scholastic Lacrosse Association Player of the Year honors... Also lettered in ice hockey... Started playing lacrosse at age 14... Has siblings Courtney and Morgan... Interesting in coaching after his playing days are over... The son of Stephanie and Neil Poillon, Peet Poillon was born on May 21, 1987, in Cranberry Township, Pa.... His last name is pronounced POY-on.
