2006: Won 195-of-324 faceoffs (.602 pct.) and picked up 56 ground balls in his first season with Long Island... Added three goals... Selected with the 29th overall choice in the 2006 MLL Supplemental Draft by Long Island... A top face-off man for the Lizards winning over 60% of his face-offs.

2005: Pete split time with rookie Andy Corno... Played seven games, assisting on one goal and picking up 17 ground balls... Won 38-of-90 faceoffs for New Jersey.

2004: Drafted by the Pride drafted in the fourth round of the 2004 Collegiate Draft and was immediately put into the lineup... Played all nine remaining games in the 2004 season, winning 107 of 199 face-offs.

College

At Fairfield University Vlahakis was named to the Division I All-New England Men's Lacrosse Second Team and was selected to play in the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association East/West Senior All-Star game... Selected to play in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's 63rd annual North/South Classic as a member of the North squad... Vlahakis ranked in the top 10 in the country in face-off win percentage all four years and finished his senior season ranked fourth in the country, boasting a .654 win percentage... A 2004 Preseason third team All-American, he also led the team and was eighth in the nation with 5.93 ground balls per game.

Personal

Vlahakis finished his career at Shoreham-Wading River High School with 142 points, which ranked second in school history at the time... Peter Vlahakis was born on Jan. 20, 1982 in Shoreham, N.Y.
