Martin played four seasons at Salisbury State University in Salisbury, Md., where he was a two-time first-team All-American... Selected as the NCAA Division III National Player of the Year as a senior and was named the Division III Defenseman of the Year in both his junior and senior years... Earned the Capital Athletic Conference Player of the Year award in 2004 and was named to the all-conference team 2002-04.

Personal

Martin attended Norfolk Academy in Norfolk, Va.... He has worked as the defensive coordinator for the men's lacrosse team at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, Calif. and has also coached the men's varsity lacrosse team at Branson Prep High School in Marin, Calif.... Earned Bachelors degree in Marketing… Co-founded and runs One City Lacrosse, a non-profit organization dedicated to introducing a new sport to inner-city youth... He currently works as the Western sales consultant for Gait / deBeer Lacrosse... Hobbies include surfing and biking... Eric Martin was born on Nov. 12, 1981 in Norfolk, Va.
