Fireworks Show Caps Circle of Support

DENVER – The Outlaws' annual Fourth of July game is known to bring a crowd of support, but this year it wasn’t just the crowd bringing it.
Just two days ago, several Outlaw players traveled down to Colorado Springs to visit and thank the firefighters battling the Waldo Canyon Fire.
As the fans poured in to Sports Authority Field at Mile High, the Denver Outlaws asked for their help. The crowd was asked to join the Outlaws in their continuing support for the Red Cross and the Colorado wildfire victims by giving cash donations as they entered the stadium.
By the end of the game, the Outlaws were not only victorious, but were breaking records.
Last year Denver lacrosse fans poured in to support the team and set an attendance record of 27,184, and this year they set another. A total of 30,128 fans came out to support the Outlaws and contribute to the relief efforts.
