DENVER -- Last Saturday the Outlaws returned to Sports Authority Field at Mile High after a week on the road. The Outlaws won for the second consecutive week with help from attackmen Brendan Mundorf.
The Outlaws beat the Rochester Rattlers 16-12, with six goals from Mundorf.
He was first to score against the Rattlers and he kept the points coming throughout each of the four quarters.
In the third frame he had back-to-back goals.
Mundorf then scored his sixth goal of the game. With this goal he earned a rare sock-trick. He has had three sock-tricks throughout his professional career.
After the goal Mundorf picked up the ball out of the back of the net and tossed it to his mother in the stands. In return fans threw socks onto the field in celebration.
After Saturday's impressive game Mundorf is now tied for second in the league in both goals (17) and total points (30). He is also tied for third with 13 assists.
Next week the Outlaws travel to Long Island to face the Lizards, in hopes of continuing their winning streak.
