The Denver Outlaws (4-2) host the Rochester Rattlers (2-3) at 7:30 at Sports Authority Field and Mile High on Saturday evening.
The Outlaws are coming off of a big 16-8 win over the Ohio Machine last week while the Rattlers are coming off of a 17-8 loss to the Hamilton Nationals.
The Rattlers' schedule has not been favorable as they have had to go on the road for their first five of six games of the season.
Rattlers attackman Ned Crotty leads the team in goals (8), points (14) and assists (6).
Leading the Outlaws in goals is midfielder Jeremy Sieverts (13). Attackman Brendan Mundorf leads the team in points (22) and in assists (11).
Denver is the only MLL team to reach the playoffs in the each of the last six seasons. With just three home games remaining, this is a big one for the Outlaws in terms of keeping their playoff streak alive. The Outlaws are in third place in MLL standings behind the Chesapeake Bayhawks (5-1) and the Boston Cannons (5-2).
Three of the next seven games are against teams with a .600 record or better.
After the game, the Outlaws will be hosting "Fans on the Field." Fans are invited to bring blankets and watch the movie Old School immediately following the game.
