OUTLAWS PICK UP GOALIE, MIDDIE FROM PLAYER POOL

The Denver Outlaws picked up two promosing young athletes in the Major League Lacrosse (MLL) Player Pool yesterday.

First up is Whittier grad Ben Brown who backstopped the Poets defense and led the team to it's best finish since the 2004-05 campaign under new coach Brian Kelly. Brown started in goal through all 12 games for Whittier, making 143 total saves and earning the nation's 19th-best Save Percentage of .598. Brown also carried earning a Goals-Against-Average of 8.23. Next up the Outlaws picked former Penn State midfielder Charlie Perry who has been playing international lacrosse in Bermuda for Team Macwear.

Both Brown and Perry are expected to try out for the Outlaws this coming season.
