The Outlaws’ 14-game 2013 schedule was announced by Major League Lacrosse on Monday. The slate includes games on one Thursday, one Sunday and two Fridays in addition to 10 Saturday contests.

Denver starts the year with a three-game road trip, beginning with a season opener at Charlotte for the second consecutive season. This year’s opener game faces off at 7 p.m. EDT on Saturday, April 27, and is the first game on the league’s calendar. Denver is 5-2 (.714 pct.) in season openers and has won its past two.

Next, the Outlaws play at Ohio on Saturday, May 4 in the franchise’s second-ever trip to Columbus, Ohio. That game faces off at 8 p.m. EDT – the latest start of any game on the schedule.

The road stretch continues with a trip to Boston on Saturday, May 11 at 7 p.m. EDT. Last season, the Outlaws defeated the Cannons 17-13 to even their all-time road record against Boston at 3-3.

Following three consecutive road games, the Outlaws return to Sports Authority Field at Mile High, where the team will play three straight and six of its next seven games.

The home opener against Rochester on Saturday, May 18 faces off at 7 p.m. MDT. Denver is 6-1 (.857 pct.) all-time in home openers and has won its past three.

Denver plays its first and only Friday game following the league’s bye week. The team hosts Boston on May 31 at 7:30 p.m. MDT to conclude the season series against the Cannons.

The Outlaws conclude their home stretch with a game against Hamilton on Saturday, June 8 at 6 p.m. MDT.

Denver travels to Chesapeake for a rematch of the 2012 Steinfeld Cup on Saturday, June 15 at 7 p.m. EDT. The Bayhawks defeated the Outlaws 16-6 in last year’s championship game.

The Outlaws return home for another three-game stretch starting with its second matchup of the season against Ohio on Saturday, June 22 at 7 p.m. MDT.

Denver hosts Charlotte at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 29 to wrap up the season series with the Hounds.

The Independence Day game against the New York Lizards faces off at 7 p.m. MDT on Thursday, July 4 and marks the first matchup between the two teams since Denver’s record-setting comeback in the MLL Semifinals last season. Denver is 5-2 all-time in Independence Day celebration games, which have set the single-game MLL attendance record each year. Overall, 158,587 fans have packed Sports Authority Field to watch the Outlaws’ seven games that have been followed by a fireworks show.

Denver hits the road on Saturday, July 20 at Rochester. The matchup faces off at 7:00 p.m. EDT.

The Outlaws return to Denver for their final home game of the season on Saturday, July 27 versus the defending champion Chesapeake Bayhawks at 12 p.m. MDT. That game is the earliest of the season for the Outlaws and the second earliest on the entire league schedule.

The 2012 regular-season slate concludes with a pair of road games. First the Outlaws travel to New York for their only Sunday contest of the year and their second straight afternoon faceoff on Sunday, Aug. 4 at 3:30 p.m. EDT.

To close out the season, Denver plays at Hamilton on Saturday, Aug. 10 at 7 p.m. EDT.
